'Wolf Creek Community Church exists to reach out and enfold people for Jesus,
together becoming devoted disciples of Him'
We are a group of people whose lives and whose stories are being transformed by the love of God. We invite you to learn more about us and how we may share God's love and acceptance with you and our community.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are back! This is an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on project of Samaritan’s Purse that focuses on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ - God’s greatest gift. By packing a shoebox you are not only blessing the child that receives the gift but you are impacting their family & community. You are reaching a child across the world and sharing God’s LOVE with them through The Greatest Journey Program! You can pack shoeboxes in the office, as a community group, with your family or by yourself!
How to pack a Shoebox:
1. Pick up a OCC Shoebox at Dolman Dental, Youth Unlimited, Soapy's Car Wash, Wolf Creek Community Church and other participating churches. You can also use any standard size shoebox or plastic tote from home.
2. Choose to make a Girl or Boy box and determine what age you are packing for. (Ages 2-4 or 5-9 or 10-14) Pick up some special items to include in your shoebox. Toys, school supplies, hygiene items, clothing, etc. You can include any new items that you think a child would enjoy. Just remember no liquids, food, war related or breakable items. Add a note and photo of yourself for the child to read! This is a treasured item these children receive.
3. Add $10 for shipping in the shoebox or go online to samaritanspurse.ca and donate your shipping cost there.
4. Return your shoeboxes before November 9 to Dolman Dental, Youth Unlimited, or Soapy's Car Wash. After that date shoeboxes can be dropped off to our Collection Center at Wolf Creek Community Church on the dates listed below.
