What we believe
We believe that Jesus Christ is the hope for this world, and we have been entrusted with carrying out His mission of love and acceptance to our community and world. Jesus lived, He loved, He died, He rose, and He ascended back to heaven so that we may have abundant life through Him, both now and forever.
We believe we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We live in a world and community where many adults and families have no regular church or may know very little of God and His love for all of us.
Wolf Creek Community Church is also part of a larger body of believers called the Christian Reformed Church. Along with our many brothers and sisters, we place a high value on the sovereignty of God over all things, and we derive tremendous comfort from the teaching that:
We are not alone but belong body and soul,
In life and in death, To my faithful saviour, Jesus Christ.
He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood
And set me free from the tyranny of the devil.
He also watches over me in such a way
That not a hair can fall from my head
Without the will of my father in heaven.
In fact, all things must work together for my salvation
Because I belong to Him, Christ by His Holy Spirit
Assures me of eternal life
And makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready
From now on to live for Him.
